Privacy
EagleReach is built to answer your question and forget it. There are no accounts, no cookies, no ads and no tracking.
What we don't keep
EagleReach does not save the ZIP codes you search or your location. We don't build profiles, and we don't sell or share data.
What happens when you search a ZIP code
To show results, your browser sends the ZIP code to the EagleReach server, which looks up your city and congressional district and returns your representatives. The server answers the request and does not store the ZIP code. Like most websites, our hosting provider may keep short-term technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and reliability.
If you tap “Use my location”
Your browser asks your permission first. If you allow it, your coordinates are used only to find your ZIP code, forecast, weather alerts and House district more precisely. They are not saved by EagleReach, and the shareable link only contains your ZIP code, never your coordinates.
Services we use
To show results, your browser or our server contacts these public services, each with its own privacy policy:
- Open-Meteo — weather forecast and local time zone
- National Weather Service (api.weather.gov) — weather alerts
- U.S. Census Bureau Geocoder — congressional district
- Zippopotam.us — ZIP code to city lookup
- BigDataCloud — finding a ZIP code from your location (only if you allow location)
- Google News — headlines; articles open on the publisher's website
- unitedstates/congress-legislators — public list of members of Congress and their photos
- GitHub Pages and Render — website and server hosting
Map buttons open Google Maps or Apple Maps, and links to other sites follow those sites' policies.
